Mr. Long has worked with clients in entertainment for over 20 years in both business and legal capacities. Mr. Long stays in touch with leading edge production tools and technologies, is comfortable with hands-on analysis and loading projects for due diligence or investigations, and understands software collaborations, and is experience with due diligence for distribution and exploitation of new VOD content and intellectual properties.

  • Production: Mr. Long is experienced with agreements for all cast and all types of crew throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-production, production, post-production, as well as release to market and monitoring and enforcement. This includes documentaries, series development and pitch projects, and green-lit projects.
  • Reality Shows: Mr. Long previously drafted and revised licensing agreements with the UCLA Film & Television Archive for use in a reality series on television with tiered royalty deals, including on ABC.
  • Post-Production: Mr. Long developed dozens of templates to manage complex work with extreme deadlines and deliverables for highly intense and time sensitive post-production, including, for example: Coloring, Music, Sound Foley, VO, Editor, etc. on a tight budget.
  • Influencers: Mr. Long drafted and revised agreements for clients with social influencers in the fashion, wellness, and cosmetics industries involving marketing and promotion of clients’ goods in association with licensed trademarks and rights of publicity.
